STEPHANIE CLARK
Stephanie Clark has worked for the Boston Public School for four years, three of which have been spent teaching first grade at the Perry Elementary School.  Prior to working in Boston, she was a member of Teach for America, TFA, an AmeriCorps organization that trains recent college graduates to teach in under-resourced urban and rural schools.  She spent her TFA term in rural Louisiana, working as a special education preschool and kindergarten teacher at a regional Head Start.  As a result of her experiences in both Boston and Louisiana she has realized how critical it is to truly understand early childhood development in order to provide students with the education they deserve.  She is currently on sabbatical from the Boston Public Schools while she pursues a master’s degree in education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education in the Human Development and Psychology Program.  Stephanie is a Harvard University James B. Conant Fellow.
