Research & Activities:
Lori Brodeur has been a Boston Public Schools middle school teacher since 2001. She recently began the doctoral program in Leadership in Urban Schools at UMass/Boston. At the McCormack Middle School in Dorchester, she teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grades Spanish, Geography and Civics, respectively. She has worked with English Language learners under the former transitional bilingual program and the current sheltered instruction model. For the past three years, she been a mentor teacher for the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is a teacher representative to the School Site Council at the McCormack Middle School. She also coaches girls’ soccer at her school.
